Coaching involves health information, which the law treats as needing extra care. This page sets out exactly what I hold, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.
Contact and billing details. Your name, email address, phone number and the payment records my payment provider passes back to me. I never see or store your full card details.
Health and fitness information. Your health questionnaire, injuries, medical conditions, medication, training history, body measurements, weight, and the numbers you log in training. This is special category data and I treat it accordingly.
Photos and video. Only if you send them or agree to them. Technique videos are used to coach you. Progress photos and anything used publicly need your separate written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Messages. Our WhatsApp and email correspondence.

To deliver coaching, write your programme, take payment and keep in touch: on the basis of performing our contract.
To train you safely using your health information: on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you complete the health questionnaire.
To keep tax and business records: to comply with my legal obligations.
To use your words or images in marketing: only with your separate consent.
I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Only the services I need to run the business, and only as much as they need: Stripe for payments, IONOS for email, WhatsApp for messaging, Google Sheets for programmes, and my accountant. Some of these operate outside the UK, in which case transfers rely on the UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
I will share information without your consent only if the law requires it, or in an emergency where it is needed to protect someone's life or health.
Health questionnaires and training records: for 1 year after you stop training with me, so I have a record of the advice given. Financial records: six years, as tax law requires. Enquiries that do not become clients: 3 months. Photos and video: deleted on request, and in any case within 3 months of you stopping.
Records are held and encrypted by Google with two-factor authentication, on devices protected by a passcode. If a breach puts your rights at risk I will tell you and the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware.
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, to correct anything wrong, to delete it, to restrict or object to how I use it, to move it to another provider, or to withdraw consent. Email info@matthewkasinski.com and I will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you came to me first.
